The PFA-01 Compact Audio Fail Detector provides reliable monitoring of audio program, alerting operators immediately if audio is lost.

When an audio failure is detected, the PFA-01 activates a loud audible alarm and bright flashing red LED indicators to ensure the fault is quickly noticed.
The front-panel Shush button allows the audible alarm to be silenced while the visual alarm remains active until the audio signal is restored.

Audio detection sensitivity is easily adjusted using the rear-panel trimpot, while the alarm delay can be configured using the rear-panel DIP switches to prevent nuisance alarms during brief periods of silence.

GPO outputs are provided via a DB-9 for connector, for external monitoring, remote indicator lamps and buzzers, allowing the PFA-01 to integrate easily into existing broadcast and professional audio installations.

Housed in a compact, rugged aluminium enclosure, the PFA-01 is ideal for studios, equipment racks, and remote installations where dependable audio monitoring is essential.
